Hi everyone. not really fishing related but if anyone can help i'd be grateful. I have a hit counter on a website that doesn't work. it just sits there and look nice. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with the following script??
<P align=center> <img src="http://strongbox.ftech.net/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?ft=5&frgb=255;192;1|st=2027|dd=A|df=cros bie1.dat" ></P>
Well, I think there might be a problem in the 72nd character, which should probably be preceded with the letter zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!

Had a quick look, it looks like it may well be that the .dat file that is specified doesn't exist. I'd check with frontier about the script configuration. I will add that hit counters are notoriously inaccurate and there is good argument that you shouldn't use them unless you have a really busy site as they can be counter-productive (nothing worse than publicising that you only have 5 visitors a week!!). Try just asking for the raw log files for your site then use a bit of the freely available software to analyse them properly and in the privacy of your own home ;)
