I don;t think it's an easy water, but the fish are there to be had... and BIG ones too !
I think it did a 40 earlier in the season - is this right Ian ?
Bill.
Is this another venue on Viv Shears and the 'away teams' list to 'crack' just like they did <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/masterclass/pages.phtml?CAT=4&ID=47>Theale</A> ?
Doesn;t it make you wonder how many other waters are un-tapped...
If anyone knows of an RMC Angling venue that holds LARGE fish yet to be caught, why not post to the forum, and maybe get a team together to try your luck ?
Bill.

this is a beautiful water one of the best in
my opinion, as for carping here, must be
classed as `hard`
huge water, not as open and windswept as your
wrasburys,more succluded bays, islands etc
plenty of fish, just finding the ******s i suppose
i wish i lived nearer this one,top water!
worth a visit
cheers

you will need some good hiking boots its a 5 mile walk to get around the venue watch out for the dead ends.If you are prepaired to work for the carp they can be found & caught
I HAVE GOT SOME NICE WELLINGTON BOOT WILL THEY DO.
Ian,
Twyford...
I had a look at this lake a few years ago with a mate who heard rumours of a large carp being spotted by a pleasure angler. We went up there and walked around - we had to fight our way aroung the bottom half along the river - I swear no-one else had been there (for years anyway!). We didnt see anything at all.
How i kick myself now for not fishing it......
