Any news, or recent captures?
Simon,
Ian, mailed me yesterday and said that recently the Longfish had been out at 31, a 23 common and a Bottom Loop had also appeared.

Asked last winter, no chance.....

Can anyone tell me just how bad the Craypool Crayfish are baitwise, if you know what I mean?
Cheers
....yes Paul....they're not fussy...you can catch them on anything that you throw in there......including backleads.....

....yes Jim I heard! Well done mate. Lovely old girl ain't she?
Just out of interest. What the hell is a bottom loop?? Sounds kinky!
I hear they chomp through your main line as well...braid all the way through? 40mm baits air dried from 1978....
Bottem loop is a fish in the crayfish, cant recall its weight, think it a mid twenty.

horse
...never heard of them biting through mainline, but they can tie your rigs into knots that would make a boy scout blush.
...Bottom Loop is a low to mid twenty mirror, that is one of the 'catchable few'.
Crimping line but never biting thorugh it. The one delicacy they do like is heavy metal putty for some strange reason.
Bottom loop is a missile, mad fish.
Eric.
