If you still need people Ian, i don't mind........might be a bit luckier this time.

Cornish (aka One Barbel Bob) might help out as well, he's on Abbotts at the mo. I'll let him know and get back to you.

Much as I'd like to come along and help Ian, I have no holiday left and I used up a 'sicky' on the Perch fishing day.

Apologies, Mike.

I hope they do better than I have been doing at the Green.
Back to good old Bacon Grill for me. They don't seem to like it flavoured with Tumeric.

Thanks for the tip. I'm off to Tescos !
I'm at the Green most Saturdays either fishing the river or piking at this time of year. I will let you know if my catch rate improves. It can't get any worse. I'm fishing the same as previous seasons but am getting little response from the fish.
Sorry if this has crept onto wrong Forum. I think it should probably be on Special Venues.

Just had a phone call from Gary Smith (Lee Valley) and the event has had to be cancelled due to wet and dangerous conditions.
Hope you all get to see this b4 setting out. Event hopefully will be rescheduled next spring.
