FG Pike

Could anyone help me with the best methods and locations for the pike at the lakes at Fishers Green? I was thinking of wobbling some sprats and taking a roving approach. One other thing are they frozen over at the moment, anyone been up ther and looked? Thanks

I have seen some doubles under the pylon just up from the top car park where the wooden bridge goes over to the spit/island. There is an old lily pad bed there in the corner they lurk near that! The only others I have come across are jacks in the river and the relief channel ( all over the place).

Not a pike man myself, so can't help u to much with your approach. Just a note to inform u that Yes the lakes are frozen at the moment.
Im on the river most days, so when the thaw begins i'll let u know.

Try the Hooks Marsh end of the Relief, it also holds some of the biggest Chub.
