I am thinking of Fishing the blue pool in a couple of weeks and I just had a few questions that I would like to ask and was wondering if anyone could be of some assistance.

I have not fished the blue pool before and would like to know the following:

How many swims are on the lake?Which swims are most productive?
What is the fish stock like?
Any Methods/Rigs/Bait working well?
Do you have to use Barbed hooks like you do on the south lake?
Can you night fish?
How many day ticket anglers can fish on the lake?

Also any other information you feel would be useful to me, please feel free to let me know? PM's welcome.

about 23 swims on the lake, you should have a chance to catch in most swims best bet would still be to se where the fish are before you start

most carp are doubles up to 29lb at the moment although the 29lb fish has been knowbn to go over 30lb

most methods do work just keep it simple and fish where the fish are, pellet and boilie combs work well, with the hook bait on a simple noknot rig with either a stealthskin or flurocarbon hooklenght
