Sandhurst Weed

How much weed is now appearing at Sandhurst now Spring is here ?Has the weedkilling operation last year had any effect on Spring growth ? I for one hope not , as to me weed means fish , but weedkilling on waters I have fished has had a marked effect on fish behaviour and weights the following year .
I will be down at the end of the month , hopefully to meet up those I have had contact with in the past , Hi Chesh , Funky , Soamesy !

we're a few weeks behind temperature wise compared to last year so I wouldn't expect the weed to be up much yet anyway....but there definitely less around than previous years....the area in front of the secret is probably about the same as last year but certainly the middle of the lake and the back bay round by 28/29/30 have less areas of fresh weed than we would have normally expected. Basically we don't really know for sure yet - but all will become clear over the next 3 or 4 weeks.....
