Not really fishing related but here goes. I found this in my girlfriends Heat magazine (Honest) on page 37. (Sorry if the paragraphs don't work).
"PETA goes pop: Pop princesses Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have joined forces in supporting the PETA charity (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), PETA's aim is prevent animals such as cats and dogs from being eaten in foreign countries."
I'm sure some of our scribes would like to set them straight on a few things, I will be. The email address for the magazine is heat@emap.com. We need to attack PETA wherever they show ther ugly head.

Has anyone come up with a decent draft letter which we can send in response to the various editors and producers regarding PETA ? My letter writing capabilities aren't bad (allegedly), but there has been some choice stuff on various lists from other people. Just wondering, as it may help those who want to write, but aren't sure exactly what to put. A few PETA home truths have been listed at various times and the addition of those into a letter would certainly add some substantial content.
I'll take both!!
Seriously though this is starting to get worrying. Especially if they are starting to appear in all these other types of magazines.

PeTa are well known for duping celebrities into aiding their cause. Obviously Britney thinks eating cats and dogs is wrong (even if imposing this view on someone else is cultural fascism), so she offers her support to Peta without realising their wider goals.
Peta then let it be widely known that an idol for millions of kids supports their cause in principal, these kids then also give their support to Peta and are slowly indoctrinated into their wider aims.
It is exactly how the Nazi's worked in the Hitler Youth, tell your lies enough times to the young and it eventually becomes the truth
Perhaps some of you would like to e-mail Britney with yours thoughts ( preferably about PETA !! )

Interesting to note that PETA are now ****ed off with Britney for using a snake in her act..gormless bimbos jumping on bandwagons ha ha ha one minute she's their heroine now she's the villian they're both as thick as the other ha ha ha
