6 caught from piont,7from main pads,6 from end of pads,7 from split bank,2 from waiting mans,1from pole. In my experiance up there pads and reeds most consistant areas this time of year.Pole the swim in summer when pads are fully up bars to left hot area. All fish caught from piont and split bank swims stringers and singles middle of lake.

Fish the place, don't necessarily jump straight into the pad's swims, and catch loads a fish- the place is on fire at the moment!!

It's shallowest on the bars to the left of Pole position but the fish are being caught all over the lake.

How as the pads been fishing this last week?

singy
10-05-2004, 12:04
Fished it's butt of last week, one guy had 10 to 31 (couple of 29s too ) and lost 9 http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

2 other had 7 apiece with about 9 losses between them http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Only 3 on so that certainly helped.

hi singy so that was you was it on sunday , you didn't look like the evil one that some say you are. you must have an alter ego or somthing. thats right just three of us on last week ,me, paul truby, and jugugly.we ended up with thirty seven takes and twenty four fish landed. eleven for me and seven for jug and six for paul. three doubles, one thirty one, two twenty nines, two twenty eights, three twenty sevens, the rest between twenty, and twenty six. i just wish we could have stopped a few more dropping off in open water, you expect it in pads but not in open water. and a bit less rain would have been nice. but overall a very enjoyable week yet again. only complaint the tardis do they only empty it once a year. any way perhaps next year youl introduce yourself and we can argue about baitboats again. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tardis get's emptied once a week I think http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif Thank your lucky stars it wasn't high summer you were on there http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif

that's a good session. well done!!
on @ end of month, where was the action coming from?

reedyrod
11-05-2004, 21:33
best of luck stevo , wish i was still there take it from me its a lot better than being back at work.can't wait till next year they will be even bigger animals to play then. during the week they came from just about everywhere,if it was fine they came from pads, the bars, the margins, when it rained they came of the silt areas and that top left corner is going to get a lot more attention next time, grebes head bay was full of fish towards the end of week but no one moved on to them because we were all on fish at the time.i think if any of the lads who came on after us moved in there they could have bagged up.hope you don't get as much rain as we did, best of luck and let us know how you get on.

Fished for 48 hours from Thurs thru to Sat.

5 of us fishing, 13 fish largest a cracking 29.07 common. 10 of the fish came off the pads. Some came from big areas of bait, others from single glugged baits fished near the margins.....can't wait till we head back again in October.

Head bailiff Ray, played a blinder with his knowledge!
