Hi All,
Me and a few fishing colleagues are booked on the Pads for a quick 48 this coming weekend and we are concerned it may be froze. Can anybody local please confirm. Much appreciated
Has anyone fished it recently? Hows it fishing?

matey you will be fine this weekend, it might be chilly but it wont be froze !!
best bet will be to call the office on the day before they will tell you if its liquid or solid http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks Lads for the update.
In preperation for this my first trip to the water ive been reading some articles. Most of the articles refer to 2 bars which are now not too pronounced because of silt build up. Am i correct in thinking these bars run lenghtways down the lake. It would make sense for it to have been cut this way.

Hi Lee,
We had the dubious honour of occupying the Pads over the last weekend (nice lake, dodgey weather).....managed to effectively fish for about half the time due to ice http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Mate still managed to land a 19lber fishing from pole position into the pads..... apart from that we didnt see a thing.
Apparently a 34 was landed from the split bank the week before.
Good luck http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Allright mate http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Wrong weekend mate, it's my nippers 1st this weekend so I'm busy. Saits are also down playing the Broncos on Saturday, so my old man and Tommo are coming down for the game http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Never fished it mate, so I'm not the best to offer advice. The fish don't seem to be the most showy but if you see one get on it.
Only fished the CP once mate, spent last year fishing the North Lake, All that history and it's last year before development was an opportunity too good to miss. Had the place to myself most of the year. The other syndicate members found it hard top walk past a load of 40s to fish for 20s http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
It is this weekend you're down?
I can't change your username mate. Didn't you used to post as rocket? How come you can't anymore
dint no u cud to nights on there fought it was a syndicate! 48 hours thts a bit of a waste dont u think http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Err no, it's on a day ticket mate! You book the whole lake in blocks of 24 hours.
