Are the prices for the pad ever going to go down, isnt it something like£125 for 24hrs?!

Yappi,

It's £100 for the *entire* lake for 24 hours or £600 per week. You can have a maximum of ten anglers on the lake so if you split that 10 ways it works out a tenner each (oooohhh - ain't I good at maths /images/forum/icons/smile.gif )

Not bad value for a prime carp fishery if you ask me !

To add to that, the South Lake is £10 for 24 hours and you don't get the lake all to yourself !

Bill.

Email info@rmcangling.co.uk and ask Sue, she will be able to give you more details.

Better still, let her know what months your interested in as I'm sure this will save her some time !

I forgot to mention... take a look in the Catch Reports (http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/news/index.phtml) section for the latest news on the Pads Lake.

You'll love it and if you can't get ten people interested, why not try asking people here ?

Bill.

The Pad lake really is an awsome venue
I had a day and a night there and caught a tench although while i was there alot of other people caught fish including the lakes first twenty. Although watch out as those fishers pond carp arnt easy as a few of us blanked, but that could be because i was in the 'blank swim' as Ian put it!. I had six rods out (starman!) and not a touch from a carp. It really is great though and those carp are really growing. I would advise Pole Position if you go as it was the top swim when i went.
you will have loads of fun if you go there and a great social
good luck
Sam
P.S Ian, did starman pay you back for that bet that you made with him?

Cryptic clues Ian, I like it, have most of the other species been removed from the Pad lake as I used to love fishing it for the Tench.

SAMR
14-01-2001, 21:54
you have to be 16 or under to be able to enter
Last years pad lake comp was really good wasn't it ian?
You make a nice bbq although that didn't compare to starman's fry-up on the last morning.
I got loads of bait and rig bits from nutrabaits etc. and came 2nd in pinky's competition,
It is defenately a competition to enter

The chances are pretty good and the questions are well easy, last year the question was : who sponcer the yateley complex?
Normally you can fish with 2 rods although me and starman slightly bent those rules with six. There aren't many rules as don't Rmc think the fish are hard enough to catch anyway.
Am i right ian?
normally all bait is provided and all you need is normal tackle for one (or two) nights.
I like the sound of a two nighter ian,
Do you still feed them with those pellets every week?
And once the fish are too big are you going to thin the stocks down a bit?
Keeping it real

Ian,I saw the pad lake fish when Viv did that netting just before X-mas, and I have to say that they look the [censored word]! The thirty is pukka, and the others are all getting on to if not already twenty pound, with nice big frames and solid guts, just the way I like 'em!! Fair play!! By the way, are you still gonna let syndicate members have a play on the pad before next season for a social? Cos after seeing those fish I am bang on for it as everyone else would be!!

Woah! Can't believe the new system won't let me even write T*ts!!! Savage!

Do you have to be a member of the cp and north or the other lakes as well?
