What are your views on this in my eyes best tackle company in the world. Hopefully this season I will be purchasing the range of products offered by the company along with the super effective Protivat liver bait. I think that this company is not only honest but produces items that are built to last andare British thus leaving rival companies in their dust. For those of you that use their company products what are you feeling about them. And for those of you that dont what do you think of the company.
thanx for your replys

I have only recently become a fieldtester for tails-up.
And i`m on the protavit liver. What are peoples thoughts on the groundbait is it as good as people say, i`ve had superb service from Jim rawcliffe ond co my bait was made and delivered on time which is always a good start. What do people think of the crustacean oil i`ve heard its very good and was thinking of having it added to my bait.

Happy whacker catching

As i said i have only very recently become a fieldtester and i can`t try everything in the space of a couple of months. I`ve never used the groundbait or crustacean oil myself and was asking for peoples opinions.

Dave.

Just out of interest, how much are you getting it for? I field test for tails up or I will be when I make my first order(soon)
and I get it about 4 or 5 pounds a kilo for boilies.

Jim just wondering if the protovit liver is anygood as an instant bait or does it fish better being pre baited. I ask this because I have heard a lot of people saying "oh youve gotta put loads of that stuff in before you get a run" I dont really believe them because if its a quality bait like that the carp will accept it straight away, what is your experience of this?

Keep it going in!

hi yappi,
no you dont have to prebait it,but i ive noticed when i go on one of my baiting hits the results speak for them selfs, because the boys "carp" are right on it , there waiting there for me to cach them.when i bait a lake i want to draw them to the area in which ive noticed them visiting.

Im definately going to give it a go, especially on Walthamstow 1 where they cant resist a bit of spodding with small baits.
Jim do you use more grounbait in a session than boilies or like 50 50?
Keep it cloudy

Hey Lofte what did we agree, was two or three grand? Great job mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way lads discussing bait prices on the net is a really silly idea! If we agree a price with a customer there is a reason for it. We don't just give discounted bait out to anyone who asks. If you're going to discuss business with each other make it private. Especially as some of you seem to be wrong! Beware of people making false claims especially with all this dopey name nonsense
I should add at this point that we are looking for some fairly serious individuals or teams on prolific waters as well as the usual fieldtester places. I want lads on the likes of Sutton, North Lake, Swindon area! Chi, and a whole bunch of you on Walthamstow. If you're up for it contact us at the factory
Regards
JR

Jim Would you recommend i have the crustacean oil added to my bait. I don`t know if you remember but i currently have Jamacian rum sweetner and Prolivermino(i think thats what its called) added to the Protavit Liver , I`ve heard the crustacean oil is superb. What do other people think of this.

Dave.
p.s My apologies for discussing bait prices, a bit stupid really!

Yappi

Jim Im going to start field testing on wathamtow soon. Just wondered if there are already any others using it down there and if so have they put much in or had any success?

Hi Dave
Well the new Crustacea oil (Well it's been out six months actually) although I say it myself is superb. If you use it as a dip and mix it in the house you're guaranteed a divorce! It's very very smelly. It has all the advantages that an oil can offer but it also has that remarkable "Live" quality. If you get some pour it on the back of a t spoon and watch what it does. Wo! Spooky! It will make Pro Liver smell fishy and give off that plume. So you've really got to decide if that's what you want from the bait. Maybe you should try a bottle for soaking readymade bait or add it to the Proliver groundbait. That's my favourite method.
Hope that answers your q.
Jim

Hi Alex
I try to be prepared to fish each and every way required! I love to float fish and not just for Carp. I enjoy floater fishing but rarely get the chance as most of my fishing is at night which entails fishing over beds of bait on the deck.
MIND YOU THINGS ARE GOING TO CHANGE THIS YEAR !!!!!!!!

If it is a fish based oil and stinks of fish won't it attract too many eels?

Hi Yappi
Walthamstow. I love it. If it din't take me between 2 & 3 hours to get over there I'd fish it a lot.
Yes there are quite a few T.U users there but having said that, I'd really like a lot more lads on there because the fish are great and there are some top anglers on the waters. If you meet anyone you think would be suitable spread the word.
There's been a bit of secret squirell thing going on over there with a bait we don't really offer. It's called Fruitmino and although it's a new name it's an old bait re-built. We've had a small number of lads using it for years and they like to continue. It's unusual for us, Orange colour and fruit flavoured. The guys who use it don't know each other and coincidentally there were two pairs using it on different lakes at Walthamstow and 1 pair using it on a lake in Essex about a month before Christmas. To cut the story short they all had big hits within a fortnight of each other and then Specialist tackle was bombarded with enquiries. As a result they are now the only shop as far as I'm aware who are selling it. But that doesn't mean you have to use it to catch there. My advice would be to use Protavit Liver with DJS and Prolivermino soak
Best of luck.

Jim

Sorry but Bait firm phone numbers should be given by private messages. Cheers, Andy

Yes Simon from Tails up was telling me about that. Im split in two minds whether to go with the fruit mino or the protovite liver. What would you say?
Is there a fruitmino groundbait?
