I've used delkims now for over 6 years and never had a problem untill this year, water started to get inside and the sensitivity started playing up. Anyway phoned Delkim up and my alarms were sent off, resealed and back to me within a week. Super servive...

A mate of mine shoves a bit of foam where the speaker hole is or failing that good old sticky tape will do the trick.

If you solder in a variable resistor, ie. a rotary volume control inline with the speaker wire that will act as a variable volume control.
