You can mouche about and stalk, but only from designated swims!
As for how it's fishing, the entire Yateley complex is quite hard in winter, the South is no real exception.

not fished it for a few years, but did evry weekend in january one year and woke up to cat ice each morning, never blanked, no bigguns but upper doubles, at least 1 each day normally at around 9.00 am or 3 pm

Spent the day there today (Thurs) with my son, both blanked!!!!!
Lovely place though and we usually pick up a fish or two, well worth a try.

i found that when i went there it was very busy so there wasnt much swims left!but good luck on finding some!
