View Full Version : Quiet on the Pads?
Anyone know if the Pads Lake has been producing of late? A mate of mine is on there soon and I told him I'd try and find out.

Cool - I get down on Friday. Pop in for a brew if you want - bring your fruity pictures and I'll bring some chocolate Boasters!

How did you get on Charlie?
Slow http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I snarled one in the early hours of Sunday morning, 17.14lb mirror with a huge tail. Maggots under the tree to the right of Waiting Mans. That was all that came out (the social cup is all mine, all mine http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif).
Had a nice social with Walker in the Islands Swim on the CP as well so it was a nice trip. Weather was against us but we will be back next year.
One major plus point was Ray Varndell - really sound bloke and full of info.
Anyone got £400 they can give me for a CP ticket LOL

Rays dodgy advice is totally famous for itrs accuracy!!! LOL
He is a diamond fella though..... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif but his advice...LOL
but his advice...LOL
Is as accurate as one man's advice can be, He's there nearly every day and will freely offer newcomers information on the topography of the lake, what has been caught recently and where from, successful methods etc. what more can a newcomer ask for? A lot of people would be grateful for that. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

We all adore the little fella - but Martin - you must admit that his advice is at times slightly dodgy...http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif..
He is an institution http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I know where to come - that little fella that used to fish in the Islannd swim a lot!!! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Nice little bloke - but could be a bit feroscious at times...LOL
