Fishers Green Update

Did anyone fish the river this weekend? I have just joined RMC and went to Fishers Green last week. It was well up and whilst I had a go, the water was really cold. I was thinking of going tomorrow but as I have a fair journey to get there I wanted to go when I can at least have a good look at what the river is like in "normal" conditions.....which is probably what it was like last week for these past 2 months! I am certainly looking forward to spending some time on it. Thanks.

I fished it on saturday mainly down the bottom end and only had a couple of tentative bites.Both of these were on flavoured meat.I did how ever see a chub taking pieces of crust right under my feet.I couldn't get it to take a piece of flake.I believe that a barbel was taken up by the top car park.The water level dropped by some 4 inches during the day and the tempreture was also dropping.Keep moving and try all likely looking spots.You will at least see plenty of the river.I hope that is some help.

Thats great, many thanks. I'll make the trip tomorrow and let you know how I get on. I have just taken out my pre-flavoured meats from the freezer so here's hoping!

Don't forget the cheesepaste... it is going to be cold tomorrow and it may just be Chub on the feed.
