i just got back from a 2 night stint mate.... didnt catch a damn thing! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif i was fishing the carp park swim too (think this is the one you're on about?), saw loads of fish moving around but i could not get get em feeding! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif

by the sounds of it everyone else was blanking too, a chap fishing the other side of the snags (the boss swim?) had been there for a week and hadnt had a sniff of a fish either! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

the water level is drastically low, surely cant be doing it much good.

Think my mates moved into the Boss after those guys, fish were crashing right up in the gap between the islands. they ended up with 2 missed runs and a fish on a single flouro pop up. a lad and his dad had 2 from what seemed about half way out towards the island from the next swim down along the spit. Couple of fish came out of the snags in the back bay (day only remember) and i had one from foards gap ( i think its called) tight towards the island on pva bag and a source bottom bait over about 50 freebies, but i also had fish feeding in close, until the swans came and wiped me out, then the cold wind got up and they never came back.
