Hi to everyone, I'm into my second season of carp fishing and enjoy spending my weekends fishing my local clubs waters which l am now beggining to master with regular succes. I am looking at booking a small session at the Pads lake for next year and in preparation for this l have been reading through all the posts that have info about the lake and the tactics/baits used etc.. l have found the posts very useful, but now comes my dumb question............ on some of the posts people have mentioned fishing with "slack lines". l haven't come across this term yet so..........(wait for it)......................can someone please explain for me what this means??? http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif

hi mate. slack liones. when you put your rods on your pod do you tighten the line when you put it on your bite alarm? simpley slack lines means leave them slack here. get me? just out of interest i am in southampton also so where do you normaly fish?

Hi, thanks for clearing this up for me Darren, l'm with Eastleigh District at the moment so l mostly fish their waters, l'm concentrating on getting to know Lakeside better at the moment recent catches include 18lb 4oz / 18lb 8oz commons and a 21lb 12oz mirror. l've fished Broadlands a few times but never caught anything http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif
