I was at Sandhurst on Sunday evening (17th Aug) for a 48 hr session.
I arrived at 7:30pm set my kit up, baited the spots I was to fish through the night.
Telephoned the wife, to say I'd arrived OK. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Fell asleep about 9:15pm not feeling too well, awoke at midnight shaking as I've never shaken before, all the signs of Cold/Flu http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif warmed myself up settled down again for the night, awoke a couple of times during the night with the odd bleep on the alarms, knew then I could'nt stay the 48 hrs due to Cold/Flu finally started to pack away at 7:30am when my alarm bleeped twice I picked up the rod and wham! It ran me ragged for about 20 mins, with the Cold/Flu my strength wasn't too good but I landed a 23lb 12oz Mirror My Personal Best (Imitation POP-UP Tiger Nut) on a bit of gravel. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I left for home not long afterwards sadly. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Glad Cold/Flu arrived now instead of September, for the Stoney Bash at Yateley. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif
PS, I would like to thank Ian, The head Balliff who was fishing on Sunday evening to 5:00am Monday Morning, for giving me valuble advice. Cheers Ian. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif (sorry can't remember your site name)
