hi all can anyone help with somebrief info on the above? what is the state of the weed has it been treated or left alone? was thinking of doing a cpl of nights on there from thur hows it fshing at the mo? and is it very busy? any in put would be grand b4 i travel many thanks pete. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

well as far as i know the weed is still there...maybe ian can indicate when/if the weedkilling is happening...don't worry too much about the weed though - plenty of spots to fish in the margins and up to 30/40 yards range - and there's not many swims where the weed is so bad that it drastically reduces your chances of landing them......if however you should choose to fish at 80 yards plus in one of the weedy areas- well you're asking for trouble.....and probably being a little irresponsible...

as for how it is fishing.....this weather is not going to help...reports from lunchtime today are that nothing has been out since very early yesterday morning - all the fish are sitting in the weed in the margins sunbathing - not even showing any interest in floaters.....it's not very busy - 3 on today plus a few bailiffs. last hot spell it did fish ok early mornings after a week or so but not in any way consistently or spectacularly.....

On a more positive note though - two lads fished for a few days last week on the road bank.....their best 24 hour period saw them land 5 fish each and they had a few more than that....some of the bailiffs have been having a few as well up till yesterday..... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

latest on the weedkilling - it is apparently to be done either thursday/friday this week or monday or tuesday next week....
