Anyone know of any waters in essex that offer good pike fishing and aren't too expensive?

Try Wanstead Park it holds some very good Pike up to mid 20s.

Berwick Ponds in Rainham holds loads of pike but you may have to wade through the jacks before you hit a decent one, about £5 a day for 2 rods I think, Hooks Marsh also has loads, virtually every section of the river Lea holds pike, check the match reports in anglers mail ti find out where the small fish are shoaling up and the pike wont be far behind, Ponders End is normally reliable, as is St Margarets, Dobbs weir is also very good.
