Question for bailiffs/Ian/anybody re: permits

I have recently purchased a permit and have not yet received my 'photocard'. Is it a case of ' no ticket no fishing' or is anything in place to deal with this ?

You can get hold of a temporary permit, which allows you to fish until the photo card is issued, but you would have to ring the office about that.

Does that mean we can still fish tomorrow if our permit has not yet arrived. I applied on the 31st may.

I suppose that's a fair point Ian, many thanks to all who answered, I guess I'll just have to sit it out and fish an alternate water until then
