Dont ignore the margins is the best advise i could give you, plenty of posts on here with loadsa info on the blue pool.

I was down there on Sunday and found tutti-fruitti over a bed of trout pellet worked well.

Had 5 out and lost one ...... I'd cast to where you see fish feeding/moving as opposed to any specific area tactic.
