It's that time of year again for the planning of the Bubble's Social for 2012,

I've done the two that I could and wouldn't mind doing the next one, and I've given raffle prizes so I'm kind of struggling to understand this.

As for being banned for catching carp, the one that I caught doesn't count as it was over 30 and a common and during the time when we went there in the depth of winter when the lake usually froze over so I'm exempt from that rule.

Looks like I'll be up there a couple of weeks before this weekend on sandy as I've been invited to a memorial match... I'll let everyone know whatthe going swims are... after our event. :D
Flipper... don't forget that bottle of JDs, to include intrest it must a 1.5 litre bottle. Better bring one up for yourself as well, alanW will bring his own and the bottle Boxy promised me last year can be shared out.

no mention of the certain individuals that left the bbq early last year to get back to their swims to get on the fish?
will anyone be able to provide a bumper car for dean to drive around the lake in - seems to do too much damage to his own car :D - bloody tree's getting in the way and everything!
Sounds like abit of a giggle and for a good cause, if there is a free space I would be happy to tag along! Cant guarantee I will get the rods out, the previous socials I have been on, the gear never made it out the van!!!

didn't get the rods out for the 1st two / maybe three Bubbles Do's an then the 1st time I do start fishing only to wake up with everything frozen solid and an 1" of ice on the bivvie, slept like a baby thanks to McEwans antifreeze.

Yeah!!!! Daz gonna try n get the bar b q from our lake its the big drum kind cut in half.. It doesnt have the rack on it for cooking on.. so if anyones got one it would be helpful or i will try and source one from some where???
Be much better for cooking on than the one from last year..
