just looked around frimleys pits and noticed that in the north east corner of pit1 there was a dead mirror carp of about 12-13lb .

It's the time of year......fair few deaths after the rigours of spawning, and they have been at Frimley very recently.
Hope this is the case!

Yes it is true about the spawning deaths. At Shepperton I saw at least two nice bream and a big common that were all floating in the margins after the spawning.

I spose at least its a pretty good way to go though.
