think thats obvious, i'm sure most contributors will realise that.
looks like it's still open to upload more photo's though, has anyone tried even though it's supposed to have been judged on the 13th jan.

Brochure now been published....photos been used, so not sure what the hold up is? Would be nice for an update?
My photo was used for the Bluepool which is nice but I guess it don't mean anything in regard to the competition?

It says all prizes have been awarded on a need to know basis.
Or in other other words, the competition was a swizz with no winners list published.
Very professional. Or maybe its just that no one has the authourity to decide. Dont know anything else mullet.
Can someone from Cemex please reply to this thread? Mods, surely someone knows something?

What I dont understand is why the home page states that the winners will be announced shortly? If something was put up regarding the winners why is it not up now?

2 photo's in the price guide are mine, not heard anything comp wise though.

Snap, I have two in the guide book and you would think the winners would come from the selected pics? I noticed that none of the pics have been credited to the owner, which in light of the missing results would have been a nice touch..

Gents, where can we see a copy of the new guidebook?
Contact the office and they will send you one, the online one is last years I believe.
It's simple, the winners have won the right to have their photo's used in the guidebook.
Cemex have won the right not to have to pay a proffesional photographer to take photos for the guidebook.
Everybody's happy.

sorry but the mods have nothing to do with the decisions made at Cemex office.

I'll be speaking to my Legal adviser on Monday morning , my picture was used so you would thought it was a winner , and Cemex say that the winners list is private smells a bit fishy to me, If we can prove this was a scam they will be in trouble !!!!!
I think you will find that in the rules it stated that by entering a pic in the comp you allowed CEMEX to do whatever they want with the image.
Yes I know that! It was what Common said, about the comp being a hoax and there were no prizes and just a way of getting free photos? I do hope this is not true. But when I saw Common's post about " it's a need to know basis about winners" it's got me thinking

Lots of prizes, from custom rods to a days angling with a guide. Go to the home page and it's all there. It states that the winners will be announced shortly...

I had a letter today stating I have won the scattered bait mix, not bad for little pic of my fish!!!
Got home to find a letter from the office to say I have won the Fox Rods! Over the moon with that!!!

Well glad i did not say ill eat my hat, had a lovely surprise when i got home Won two custom built rods by Tony Parker, i hope he does full duplon or full cork ,, never had a set of these, does any one know what blanks he uses ?

I read somewhere that he uses Harrison blanks...
Ok cheers. I spoke to my mate last night and he told me that he has had two sets built by him in the last 16 years. Top quality rod building hecsaid. Can not wait. Full Duplon or Cork. Decisions to be made.

Thanks mate, be good to see what photo won what prize? I had two photos published in the brochure but guess it was the Bluepool one of my mate Stu Parker in the morning mist.
The photo has a nice story as well, shortly after taking that pic I picked up the net to help land the fish, just as he got it to the surface I sunk the net underneath it and then the hook pulled, quick as a flash I scooped up his prize...A mint 28lb Mirror.
I forgot I had done that but was reminded by Stu this weekend. We are back on the BP next week and I can't wait, hopefully I will be on the other side of the camera this time!
i have won the calm productions prize, £100 in books :thumbs: thanks calm productions for the donation i look forward to reading them.
My rods arrived yesterday, and I must say that they really are nice looking rods. I would like to say publically thanks to Cemex and Fox for my lovely prize!

I had a meeting with Mr Parker over the weekend to discuss my rod build. All sorted just got to wait for them, can not wait looking forward to getting that call when there ready.

I won an angling session with tony smeets :clap:
recieved a book from calm productions, john wilsons "my way" so assume more people must have won books as the prize was to the value of £100 already had a list of what i would order sorted as well. still pleased to get something and to have my photo's published.
Had to laugh. My photo was used loads in the mag but I didnt win a prize.
That'll teach me to gob off about swizzles! :norty:
Best go fishing....
