I read somewhere I think to do with the copse when you said you would be stocking fish up to low 30s in the Sandhurst? Maybe I read it wrong. Anyway I did say to upper 20s low 30s, not from upper 20s to low 30s.

It will be nice to get the crowds off the match lake and to have a choice of great waters to fish- cant wait!

Stuart, I do believe RMC are making the Copse lake into a Bream/Tench haven so not all is lost, Ian is this confirmed?

Tony,

I think it was decided ages ago. See an old thread about the copse - it should be confirmed there.

I think someone also said that the Bream that were taken from the Match (or was it split?) lake week were placed in the copse...

Bill.

Out of the 13 lakes I do believe 10 of them are fishable for non-syndiacte members, just because Carp anglers fish them does not stop "pleasure anglers" fishing them as well, there is the Horseshoe and Pumphouse, I am not sure of what has happened with the netting over the past few years but I remember the split lake containing some cracking Tench & Bream in the past. Maybe Ian could enlighten us on which Yately lakes are in fact still fishable for other species apart from Carp.
