Litter at Yateley

Yesterday I was having a walk around the Split, Pumphouse and Horseshoe while deciding where to fish. Now I know the Pumphouse is well fished but the amount of litter strewn all around the place is a disgrace. People have butchered the Carp boys for some of the litter they have left but when I see a baked bean can slap bang in the middle of the pathway I find it bloody annoying. Add to that Beer cans in the margins, plastic bags, line and a pair of soiled pantts !!!!! and you can imagine what it looked like. Can we not take our crap home please ? (quite Literally in the case of the pants !!)

The split on the contrary was litter free and a credit to all who fish it.

The Pumphouse does suffer a lot and has been cleared by myself and friends before. It is because it's fished by a lot more people than the other lakes that are far less responsible. It's been said before, and I know it's not ALL kids, but it's normally the youngsters.....they don't seem to care nowadays. I know who was on there at the weekend so will speak to Ray the bailiff so he can make note of them in future.
(Don't get angry, young'uns.......I know it's not everyone who causes a problem!!)
