G
i'm on sunday mornings at the mo.....does vary sometimes though as we swap around to cover off other people's holidays etc.....am around pretty much every weekend at some point though and from this week on will be popping down for an evening during the week at least once.....
Any updates chappy's, into what corner is the wind blowing today ? oh and with it comming up to the start of peoples seasons are the punters dying off or is it still packed at weekends.
G
anyone ?? oh go on be a devil..spill the beans
"what do you know about the beans man " *chuckle*
G
just a snippet of info will do.
sorry G......got no can opener so can't even get the beans open to spill them.....
....but yes sandy packed at weekends still - and probably will be till the weed scares them off (by the end of june.... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif)
Not very helpful puting off customers like that!!!! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Poor G - someone give him some info for gods sake!!! LOL....he's about to pop!!! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

cheers
G
it's only certain customers we try to put off.... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif.... though not sure how telling him it's busy or that it gets weedy (he already knows that i would imagine....) is supposed to put him off - merely stating a fact about the weekends being packed - there have been the maximum of 22 on at the weekend for the last 6 weeks at least.....
what else do you want to know G....ask away and i'll do my best to answer.....?

each day http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif , that post spawning big munch up, love it http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif, how long have they been spawning (or trying to) now Paul/Funkster ?
Indeed, any more info on the spawning situation....?
May b showing my face, but don't wanna waste valuable hauling time if the fish r spawning!
feel like i'm repeating myself http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif....the carp started spawning again yesterday.
However, this is their second attempt as they did try the last time it was warm a few weeks ago. Any guesses on when they'll finish are welcome......

Obviously we know about the current spawning attempt, which is why the question was asked of how long have they been trying, the answer from your reply should have read on and off for a few weeks, rather than the insolent post made http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
insolent??? moi????......perhaps the question should have been clearer in the first place- along the lines of "When did the carp first start spawning this year?"....LOL http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now, now girls - Keep your blouses on!!!! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
The only useful a**ehole is the one that you s*** out of!!
They 'attempted to spawn about 2 weeks ago, but that ended up more of an 'odd bang' than a full blown spawning session. They kicked off serious spawning on Monday evening and were 'full on' this morning at 7am.
With the weather forecast as it is I wouldn't bet G's air fare on them finishing much before the weekend http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
but it'd be so dull if we couldn''t take our blouses off - and it is hot today http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
we can but hope they're sh**ged out before the weekend....though i can always switch my day off to a couple of weeks time if i have to...an option not available to G unfortunately.......

If I were a member of the hooded claw, I'd have a go on the south until saturday and move onto sandy until tuesday.
Got that mud pit sorted yet funky http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif
i might have a dabble on the split as it goes - as long as the carp in there aren't spawning too..... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I'm reliably informed the south is more bivvy city than Sandy....? Is the south normally rammed at the w/ends?
not sure if it's more bivvy city than sandy but it certainly is normally busy at weekends - give YAC a call to check on this weekend. they'll know how many tickets are prebooked etc...01252 861 955

The South is not as busy I believe.
They were looking interested in having a flirt on the north and split at the weekend. two weeks and they'll be thinking about it on the CP. Down there tonight, will let you know tomorrow.
Come on the Leather
Any of the Sandhurst crew about?
If so can you let me know roughly how busy the lake is at this moment in time.
And presumably the fish are still spawning all over?
G's en route later and asked me2 ask for him!
Ta in advance
there are about 7 or 8 on at the moment - fish not particularly interested in food at the moment and were going mental again this morning - though things did slow down for a time on the spawning front yesterday afternoon so there are probably opportunities for fish to be caught......only 1 out this week since monday.....
Not looking to good then, I'm down from tomorrow so if I dont catch at least I will have a tan.
Look forward to seeing some of you maybe.

Can anyone let me know how sandy has been fishing?
Hi brother, was down at the weekend just gone and they were just finishing up spawning m8, Had 1 of 15lbs 8oz and 2 other fish was caught that weekend, not to good but they should be feeding again this weekend so could be productive.
Wayne
I had 2 and G had 1out last weekend, out infront of the bailiffs swim/s.
Fish were feeding out in open water at first light till about 8 and appeared to be a lot spawning in the day.
Well i will be down there Monday and tuesday, so hopefully they will all be hungy after their activities.
What peoples options on whats the best area's at the mo, I will of course have a wander and make a decision, but just thought it would be worth asking?.
Well I was on the island and as bovis said he was in the bailiff's swim, But I dont think it really mattered at the weekend. But I think you might get some joy fishing on the top.
I dont actually know to much about it yet but planning to.
do a search on here - all the normally favoured swims have been covered many times before and they don't really change....
not many on this week so not many out.....from what i gather though (not been down myself since sunday) spawning is just about all done so they'll be hungry !!
and if you have any specific questions you can't find answers to through a search i'll do my best to point you in the right direction.....

Still spawning today (Friday 13th). Still managed to catch 6 between 3 of us. Terrifying liners though. Hard to sleep at night with all the activity.
Fished Sandy this weekend. 3-5 fish out, a few lost. Spawning just in front of bailiffs around the island.
