I would like to propose, in honour of Psyclops Steve (and all others that have have succumbed to this horrible disease), that we hold a 2 minute silence for them at the Yateley bash. If anyone knows the time he sadly passed, that would be the most opportune moment I think :(

Great idea Mike.
Shame I cant make it this weekend.
Knowing through Tim how involved Steve has been in the Old vs Young matches maybe that could be renamed in his memory for future events?

Nice idea mate, Hirsuit H, now Psyclops. My Granddad passed away last year from cancer and now my Gran is undergoing tests for it aswell. I won't be at the Yateley bash but I will glady stand for the two minute silence.

Nice idea and something I have thought about since hearing the news
Emblem, Steve passed away on Saturday, Lots of us thought he was on the mend. He had recently moved away to be near his family and his wife who he had not long married.
Such a shame really nice bloke, quality chap. RIP

If we're going to pay our respects through a silence then maybe ask Alan if we can do a minute before the raffle when we're all together, I'll be grateful for the pause as I'm going to party so hard in his memory all weekend.

You'll see Al before me I guess Mike, with being a steward and all that. If he doesn't read this do you fancy suggesting it mate?

If Mike doesn't then i will. Whoever sees him first really.
I didn't know Psyclops personally but I lost my mum last October to it. The 2 minute silence is a great idea. We all have family and friends that have been affected by this ****ty disease and it will give everyone time to reflect on those that have passed and those that are still battling.
After all, that's the reason we are all there! To help Macmillan and support everyone that's involved with it.

rip psyclops , two of my fishing pals have got it not good :( .
A minutes silence to all those lost this year, not just Steve, that's not how he would have wanted it.
If anyone would like to join me down the pub for the Saints v Wigan Challenge cup semi final and sink a few jars in Steve's memory then you are more than welcome.
At the last Stoney Do, Steve, myself, Dean and Jimmy watched the Rugby, Steve was a big RL fan and was a Wigan fan (though I'll still want saints to beat the pie eaters :) ). And I can't think of a better way of remembering him.

An act of rememberance will take place at this year's bash and, I'm sure, at the Woolly bash. Exactly what form this takes is still be decided.
