Brumster,

Theres a rule that states anglers shall not wade, bathe or swim in RMC lakes.

Does the ban on wading also apply to river venues, ie the Blackwater ?

Cheers,
Paul

Ian,

Excuse me if i'm being dense here (don't even think about it), but this ban on waders question.
In Little John's bit in AM, theres a picture of him "wading". Placing hookbaits, clearing debris etc etc.

Am i missing something.
Just a question, not trying to start anything.

Miller.

Any chance of a disclaimer (i'm sure spike has or will speak to you about this), or something similar, so we can wade and do it at our own risk. At the end of the day it is a common sense issue, and the majority of us are adults and can look after ourselves without some health and safety beurocratic crap governing what we can and can't do. You are a fisherman Ian and you know as well as I do that waders are an integral part of fishing, so i'm sure you'll be able to sort something out. Even if it is at the bailiffs discretion, i.e. if they see someone wading dangerously then words are had, but if not then it is left to the angler himself. Or even if we could wade if we wear a life lacket.
Next thing the health and safety people will do is force us all to wear protective goggles in case of getting hooked in the eye when casting; or forcing us to wear safety helmets in case of falling branches?!!! Common sense must come in at some point.
P.s. Alright Brumster!! Back in your favorite swim for the opening night!! See you down there geeza!! And keep an eye out for people putting bait in your swim, cos I've already had someone putting some in mine about an hour after the draw, rudeness!

Ian i dont mean to sound thick here but what is there left to read between in your statment. it seems to be quite clear no wading no climbing! if u want you can PM me with what youre getting at.

one other point about the tree climbing! i dont fish yatley but in the apr/may edition of david halls advanced carp fishing ther is a photo on pg 16 of Jon coxhead in a tree with a with a bucket of pellet. I dont mean to have a go at you but it gives the wrong impression for people like me who wish to join yatley in the futrue

kind regards
