Well lads,
This is a post about the very nice little pit no. 2 at Stanford le Hope.
I wanted a water near to home that I could pop down to for a few hour pleasure fishing in the close season.
Along with Garry Newland we have fished it for the last few months and had a some lovely fish.
In the week it does not get overfished and there are plenty of available swims.
It has a good head of Tench around the 4/6lb mark and plenty of bits to keep you happy.
So if you fancy a pit of pleasure fishing watching a float lift, go flat and shoot away give the pit a go, it's good fun.
There's a few carp in there worth catching as well.
