They're gold dust,but it may be worth looking at the classifieds in Carp-Talk, as there is usually a handful in there as people upgrade. No major manufacturer has them anymore even if they advertise that they do!!

Just an idea but if you find someone who has got a pair you are going to pay top dollar for them, even second hand, purely for the fact that there are a lot of people out there who have 2 and want a 3rd one.

Why not save up your money and buy the new Nexus RE or GTE models?????

As I say, just an idea.

Good idea as the new ones all singing and dancing are only £10 each more expensive...........makes you wonder if being a tackle tart's worth it sometimes!!.....(I swapped mine for a different type of Shiamno reel to match....TART!).
