Hi, Sorry I know there has been a lot of posts about the the South Lake, but I'm after some up to the minute stuff...

Booked to fish there this weekend and although I've got some idea as to the best swims, I guess these are the most popular swims too. As I'm turning up on Friday morning, I doubt I'll get the first choice of swims, so my question is...

Do I still stand a good chance of catching from the least popular swims and if so which ones. Also how is fishing generally at the moment?

The least popular swims can be the best place to be. Never right them off, as the carp usually will find sanctury there as the feel safe!
