View Full Version : Rymeads,help?
I fished Rymeads a couple of seasons ago with no sucess,i'm about to give it another go for the tench/bream.And i was wondering if their is anyone who could point me in the right direction i.e. tatics, baits, favourable areas etc. Many thanks Halesey.
I've done about 6 sessions this spring on there with no success,at the mo,I've tried most baits,The most encouraging signs I did ecieve were when I was fishing a cut in two mulberry pop up boilie, over a few pellets,i had plenty of fish bubbling around the bait but alas no fish on the bank, the last time I got down ther I saw 3 tench all about the 6-8lb bracket and a common carp of about 15lb all mooching about on pit 2 at the far corner on the river bank,I will esume my fishing on ther next week,so if u fancy a chat send me a private and will meet up.ps if u do a search back about 2 months on the forum I posted the same question and recieved a lot of advice.
all the best

Hi Halesey, if you're looking at the venue map, for pit 1, try swims around the bottom right, middle left and a few around the top end (you'll see them when you walk round), floatfish or leger breadflake or maggot feeder, should get you in touch with the tench. As for pit 2, there's swims around the big bay at the bottom, also up the left-hand bank between the two pits, tench seem to like small boilies.
This might help for the tench, not sure about the bream, if anyone else knows, I'd love to know!

Thanks Tony & Clive for the help.
I'm going to give it another go over the next few weeks hope to meet you down their.
Hi hope this is of some help, most fish seem to get caught on maggot, fished bolt style with aheavy feeder.although boilies do seem to produce fish as well ,not as many but the average size is larger.the lake is not fishing as well as
last season, the water level is currently about 2ft up on normal.largest tench out so far is 9-9 i think several bream to low doubles.if you want info on going swims please send private.
