Ian, have you ever considered running a fish in like the carp society do?
Maybe you could do one for juniors or you could do a carp match on one of the lakes, possibly a junior match?
I would like there to be an Rmc junior fish in and I think it would be good for your buisiness because it will promote Rmc to more juniors and introduce them to catching lovely English fish- it will help with the Keep it real thing too.
Im sure you would get a lot of help and maybe you could get people like Jim and Terry to come down Im sure theyd like to educate more people (especially juniors) about keepin it real.
What do you say Jim?

Maybe if you opened a fish in to the public for a day or so it would encourage people to join as well.

Keep It Real,
Mike

It's a good idear but do you realise how much work goes into organising a junior fishing.RMC do run two fishin's one on the pad lake and one on the River Lee and relief channel. Both are run with the Anglers Mail for competion winners.Having done the Fishersgreen one this year they are hard work for the instructors but very satisfying. You will have to speak to Ian about this but can I sugest you go for the Carp society events.

There are two Fish-Ins held each year (though not specificly for juniors, but they are encouraged). One is a Pike Fish-in @ Wraysbury Two on Sun Feb 11 2001 and a 3 day Fish-In @ Nutrabaits Yateley on 7,8,9 Sept 2001.
These are both in aid of MACMILLAN CANCER RELIEF

I'm sure Ian has considered it before but these events are expensive and most of them loose money I'm surprised the Carp Society can still afford to run theirs each year.
