Due to the thames being so flooded has anyone managed to catch out of the channels/calmer inlets as there have been a couple of nice carp out at chersey.

Also having taken a good stroll around shepperton (group water) i have spotted some very nice and big fish upto 30+ i believe this to become a good little water which isn't fished alot and will i believe throw up a few suprises this coming spring/summer.

good luck over xmas

I have spotted some excellent Carp in Shepperton cruising on the surface. From the carp park follow the lake round, through the narrow pathway, where the lake turns left there are some swims off the beaten track, they were there, 20+

Alex,

I fish shepperton a lot but not for carp, there are a small head of Carp in there which are large, I would say a few over 30.... I have seen Carp there but it is not what you call a carp venue, there are stacks of bream and a few tench, good roach and some huge eels..... if you are going to carp fish it you will probably need the advice of someone who fishes it for carp.
