Most things work at the Green, if you are healthy walk the river rolling meat or touch legering. Its always good bet to add hemp too various swims and fish over it,a lazy but effective approach which I use is to select a couple of swims add the hemp and fish over it with meat or paste. In colured water stick to meat or paste, when clear try bolt rigged maggots and use plenty of them.
Hope this helps.

I've fished Fishers for the last 8-10 seasons and the other obvious bit of advice is swim choice. I don't know whether you agree Ian but most of the known swims have a feature, usually an overhanging tree or bush, the barbel (and chub) just love hiding under some cover. When the waters clear you only have to wait quietly to see them glide out into the main flow picking up food particles from the bottom then slipping back into the cover.
As for baits, a few droppers full of hemp, caster and finely diced meat with a large lump of meat fished over the top seems to work. I also caught well the season before last using lobworm.
