G.....I've not fished is very recently.....now there's even more fish in there!!
Big beds of bait do work...but let everyone else put them in whilst you fish singles or tiny bags etc.....This seemed a really good method as the fish would pick up the stand-alone morsel...and then proceed to deposit everyone elses piles of bait on to the unhooking mat......

Done well fishing the next swim to Cash after his hard work spodding... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif..(only teasing, Cashy!).

Seriously...it's definitely worth the approach of putting hookbaits off the main area of freebies.....& the bream & tench love particles...even tigers......nosh...nosh!!

The 'Method' worked well too...bearing in mind that constant casting built up a bed of bait....

Happy days!!

BGB (Big gals blouse!)

Sat facing into the wind on the CP all weekend - no problems - got a bit brisk on Friday night but was never a brolly breaker - did you forget the pegs or someit? http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Lewis my dear boy, u r like many others on the forum..have no understanding of just how shocking my brolly is..it strains under a 5mph southerly ! the storm poles are weak and rusting, all bar 2 peggin points have now vacated, the left storm pole rib is attached via my very own glue and thread repair job, the right hand one is not even attached..believe me fella u wouldnt want to have to kip under it every session like i have too.. it's a total liability and i regulay get ripped apart because of it. to top it off last session, whilst in the middle of frantic re positioning of brolly..the bedchair actually up ended and flew yes flew into that ditch thing behind the pipes swim ( 31 i think) head end and middle section submerged..yes the clan loves it.

MATE your brolly is 100 times better than mine ..

no pegging points
loose ribs
the central spokes just about hanging in there
leaks
bivvy no peegging point , rip new ones out
pegs consist of 2 bent up bits of metal, 1 solar peg , 1 solar bankstick, and scissors ,knife and fork

and it still stands up....

mind you when ive got dollar im getting 1 a bit better
wanna sell yours , sounds luxury http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif

The lake was BUSY - complete with it's fair share of numpties!! The Priests had most the fish - all from 1 corner of the lake!

What about you did you catch at the weekend?

This is how goes it, Thursday nite was relativley quiet anglers wise i think there was about 8 or 9 on there, i bagged one straight away from the pipes, during the nite bovis had 1 and catholick had 1, next day nothing at all happened all day as we watched more anglers arrive and more and more. Fri nite Bovis had another and then saturday daytime i bagged another, and i do believe that was nearly all the action over fri and sat nite, i know prior to thursday some lads had bagged a few from the palace ?? about swim 12 or 13 i think but then everywhere but the clans swims stayed quiet .... nice !

Me? No... saw a nice tench and a bit of activity... but that was about it.... had a look a few nice lakes about though, as you do... options... options.... and not the chocolate variety..

Must admit that sandy was looking pukka thursday when I went round, I'd have gone in the pipes for sure LOL... though maybe with the back of the evo towards the lake... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif
