How easy is the water, im looking for a decent twenties water with the chance of a thirty, does Kingsmead fit the bill, or is there another water you can recommend.

Also for the £40 ticket price does that include the use of more than two rods.

Kingsmead is a cracking water,not easy but there are some good fish to be caught.The £40 covers you for two rods,if you want to use 4 rods then you have to buy two licences

nope, not easy, but worth a go.

we have all sorts each year who say they are going to empty it etc etc.

remember, the carp in there are *not* normal!

Cheers for the info, i live just as close to Stanstead abbotts, would that be a better option.

well, they dont seem to eat!! unless they see my car pulling up and go on hunger strike! "oh look, its sam again, stop eating lads!"

we had fish all over us last weekend. 11 rods out between 4 anglers and not one take. surely one of us must have been doing *something* right.

oh well, its what keeps us coming back for more..........
