Yes; unfortunately not by me, but 4 Bream were caught, one nine and three doubles.
Thats got to be a good start for the specimen group.

Tim,
No Carp or Tench caught at the fishin, but they were caught the week before.

Tim if you want to see the carp then get on the venue at 6am and watch, they show them selves for an hour or so before it goes quiet.
River carper,
For pit 4 in Frimley, you want to be looking at around 1 - 2pm! Much better than early morning.... trust me! ;) Look in the motorway bridge bay and along the trees, with pit 3 behind you, or up in the top 2 bays.
Anyway TIm, you should know this!!!!

Just trying to keep up to date on the place!
It's a bit hard when you only get to the lake for a couple of hours in the evening a couple of times a week!
They will be in the edge today though, maybe I'll get one this evening!
Heard you had another one Nat?

Just spent all weekend on there and saw virtually ****** all during the day.Everything that showed was in the first hour of day light.Things may change but at the moment your wrong my friend.
Ok sorry mate, didnt mean mean to offend.
They were all on top yesterday, and I guess they will do the same today. Managed to blank again! Even after leaving work early!!
Wish I was still a work shy student, fishing was alot easier then!
As to when they show it certainly hasn't been dusk.
Are the small black snails appearing in the margins yet?
If they are then the carp will very soon...
This exact day 2 years ago i had 3 between 18 - 19lb, between 1-3pm, i had exactly the same the next day! And also the nearly the same the year before that.
Where the 'show' is not necessarily where they will be caught - unless it has been baited up.
Haven't notised the snails yet, but unbelieveable amounts of daphnia, and fly hatches!! the carp are just swimming around with their mouths open gorging themselves
Daphnia soup!
Keep your pies peeled for them cheeky black snails...
Pit 4 carp love 'em.
