Crafty,
The fish are still in the snags, not as many as last week so Im told but they are still there. (Had a 23lb 4oz Half Linear from there today). Lock up tight as you can, fish as close to the snags as possible and don't move an inch off your rod, you should get them out.
Best of luck for Sunday.

went down today

the bailiff was in the snags swim, so i went into the bridge, casting to the channels

the bailiff had 1 fish, i didnt even have a knock!

he moved at 4pm, so i nabbed the snags and bagged a 16lber in the last hour!

fishings gone downhill, they werent having it at all today, and not showing anywhere!!!

G

Ummm.... nope, but here is the overhead map for the south (http://www.multimap.co.uk/map/photo.cgi?client=public&x=482202&y=161356&scale=50 00&width=500&height=310) with compass on it.....

I would say its the houses bank though????

(south is the lake on the bottom right of the picture as you look at it, for anyone who has not been before)

G, the snags is a specific swim rather than area, the first swim on the right as you walkdown the spit (in the back section as you describe) you can also fish to the other side of the snags, the first swim on the left if you walk straight past the spit (where Neil the bailiff normally fishes on a friday (I think))

Oh yeah, a NE would blow from left to right if you are on the spit looking towards the car park, straight into the bailiffs area
