Been out before in the winter with tour guides, hoping this time to hire a car, and go for it.

Anyone give me any pointers on areas to carp fish, places to stay, licences i will need, etc etc

What looking at going again possible this winter, would even consider spanish lakes??

i think the licences have to be bought from the local council offices and you will need your passport with you. apparently it takes a bit of time to get them issued, so you would do well if you could get an organised tour chap to sort it out for you first before you arrive?

to which area are you going ? i have been to the ebro a few times now ( mequinenza ) and can point you in the right direction around that area.

That is were i have fished before around the old town area with the lamp post in the water LOL
