I was just wondering whether any of you guys living in the Essex/Herts area are members of Abbey Cross Angling Club? (sorry Ian!) Seems I'm up for membership, but I haven't got a proposer... can anyone help?

Well fisher of carp, I'm in! Got a letter the other week asking whether I could turn up for an enrolment meeting, went along, had a chat with the committee, told them how I love my fishing and was prepared to play an active roll in the club ie: work parties, socials etc... and I got the nod. It seems not having a proposer isn't the end of the world, so stick in there!

Look, if that's what it takes...lol. Anyway, I have enough trouble getting along to our Specimen Group fish-ins let alone any more waters, so frik knows why I joined another club as well!!
