View Full Version : on line photo printers
My old dye-sub, photo printer has given up the ghost and its just not economical to get it fixed.
Has anybody got any experience / recommendations for on-line photo printing services?
I'm talking quality prints here in colour, black and white and sepia (for occasional wedding photography), rather than budget happy snaps type places.
I'd therefore appreciate your recommendations and experiences based on quality (first and foremost), speed of service and ease of use.
Many thanks.
Oh and another question, how come when I typed the word "wedding" it appears as a link to an advert for w3dding services?
I was under the impression links were banned? As someone who photographs the occasional w3dding, I'd sooner not be inadvertently advertising the competition in my post
had some wedding pic's done by snapfish taken with a d200 nikon.service was spot on and the pic's looked good might be worth a look
I too have used SNAPFISH , but only for fishing pics ,, excellent Price, quality and service IMO,,, think they are a Hewlett Packard company ,,??

From the "your input" page:
The keyword linking on the CEMEX forum and website is a new feature requested by CEMEX in order to improve the benefits to potential advertisers and therefore increase revenue from the site so that that free features such as the forum can continue running. The keyword linking is only being offered to the highest paying gold package advertisers and also helps with the CEMEX search engine optimisation which was a key requirement for the new website project brief.

Check out theprintspace.co.uk, they have a good name for top quality prints :)
Thanks for the replies so far, keep e'm coming.
Most seem to offer the first few prints free to a new customer, so my plan is to send an identical test print off to all that do, and go with the one that comes back best. In the event of a dead heat for quality I'll go with the cheapest / best service. ;)
I'd be happy to post my findings on here if it would be of interest to forum members?

Photobox is by far the best you can also set up an account gallery with them where people can purchase your images at a set rate you choose they take a small percentage charge and the cost of the print you get the rest ; )
They have won several awards for there quality and service!
