what lures do you recommend for spinning for perch, i have two small 6/7ft light spinning rods which i'd like to use for this............

Storm 'wildeye' shads, either the 3' or 4' size, in roach like colours.

Mepps or a small jointed plug. A couple of years ago, there were some really nice small plugs about, if I can find out the maker, I'll pm you. You might consider a fly spoon, whether you can cast these far enough depends on your set up and how far you intend casting

small spoons like the atlatic from ace or tobys/atoms

the fox range of micro jerks work well with the jointed runt being agood choice

Abu Atom in copper, though I don't know if they are still available. Other colours and copies are almost as good.
