hey guys, im trying to find some braid to put on my spinning rod so im on a tight budget. do you know of any that is reasonably cheap? im thinking about 20lb bs.

PM RAA on this site he does very reasonable prices for Power Pro.
YAC had some fox driftmaster braid dirt cheap in their sale boxes...

I'll be seeing RAA tonight, it's not just braid that he sells, he also carries a selection of Salmo lures and Berkley Big Game mono.

Can't beat PowerPro, but it comes at a price which is probably not want you to hear. Watch the lower breaking strains, a sudden "snatch" can snap it. Think of a piece of cotton, a steady pull and it will take a lot of breaking , a short tug will snap it easily. Must have a look at the Drifter braid as I'm looking for some of this at a half reasonable price.

penn dyneema is good as is daiwa sensor braid if you can find it

try ebay usa or australia for saratoga braid as good as anything else & on auction can get for about £30 delivered per 1500m.
Have used it in 100lb for lure fishing on the Ebro for cats never a problem,
& 30lb for carp on the Ebro good abrasion resistance vfine for braking strain black floats tight weave semi oval profile.
Not as good as something like stroft but as good as power pro & better than spiderwire.
