Raw Image Conveter Software.

Afternoon Peeps,
Im currently using a Sony F828 which is capabile of capturing raw images,which is great for very fine details or very big pics (A0 / A1 size ) the down side to this is that the file size's are huge, normally about 23meg per photo and needs to be converted.This was'nt an issue with my old PC as the operating system was Windows XP and the software which was given with the camera converted the RAW images very nicely, but my new PC is running that fantasic operating system Vista LOL, and will not allow the imaging software to be installled as its not compatable with vista, I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a patch from so I can upload RAW images to my new PC, any info would be very helpful, Cheers J.

Is there no update for the software from Sonys site? Picassa may work for you but it is not a very advanced raw editor, assuming it supports your camera.

Hiya Les Paul,
tried the sony site and there was nothing on there when I looked fella, also did a search on the microsoft site but still nothing.When I get home from work Ill take some RAW images and see what Picassa can do. Jamie.
