What's out there secondhand? I'm looking for something for silly money (£20-30) that will take passable pics, mainly for nights out or possibly roving sessions. Am I being too optimistic or is it a possible? If so, what models to look for/avoid?

if no one here can help mate afraid its flea bay. plenty on there i have two fuji finepix. takes a reasonable photo and never had any issues with them. small compact and easy to use.

I got 2 Kodac easyshares from ebay for xmas for my 6 and 11 year old think I paid 50 quid in total for 2x 10million pixel compacts with 3inch screen etc good cameras for the money.

you can get a 5mp vivitar from asda in that price bracket :)

i bought one for £25 on friday for one of my lads i will be going back to the shop tomorrow as i dont work:rolleyes: made by a company i have never heard of i should have known better, kodak easyshare is what i will look at now, cheers benny

What is the best of the cheap digi's though? I'm looking for one at the moment?

Decent Contract mobile is better than a lot of cheap camera's, my satio has a 12 mp camera.

If you don't mind second hand the Olympus MJU 300 or 400 is a sound camera, look on Ebay you'll get one for next to nothing, i've got a 300 and the picture quality is very good, I believe one of them came with a remote, may be the 400 or 410?
