Hey all I was just looking for a little advice on the boat pool regaurding permits and what the fishing is like.
I mainly want to know if permits are still available for this season because I was thinking of fishing it for some of those monster cats that I have heard so much about and I decided it was time to put the carp tackle away and dust off my catfish tackle.
So any info would be great.

Hi Alex,
I think that there is a small waiting list for permits on the boat pool.
cheers

I don't think there is a waiting list on the boat pool, but you will require a 50" landing net and a very large unhooking mat!

Just a question. How hard is the boat pool for the cats or carp?

Well I might have to have a little look at the carp fishing in there as well but I'm after them cats more than anything I have been doing way to much carp fishing over the last couple of seasons but I look forward to fishing the boat pool it looks a very nice lake and I'm sure the people who fish it are just as nice so I look forward to it.
